Rooted in Zimbabwe
We grow it, dry it,
blend it and pack it.
Working with wild-harvesters in communities across Zimbabwe, we source traditional indigenous plants and blend them with Western herbs and Asian spices.
Our ingredients are harvested and dried under the Zimbabwean sun — slower and more natural than heat-drying, and it leaves far more of the flavourful compounds intact.
The unglamorous bits
We’d like to leave the soil richer than we found it.
Sun-dried, never rushed
Most tea is heat-dried in a hurry. Ours dries slowly under the Zimbabwean sun, which is why it tastes like something.
Zero chemicals. Thirteen years.
No fertilisers, no pesticides, nothing. Not since the day we started growing.
Compost is worth more than gold
We make no apology for believing this. Vermicompost, comfrey, nettle, amaranth, blackjack and yarrow.
Plastic-free, all the way down
Plastic-free bag paper, packets made from plant cellulose, biodegradable boxes.
